And that Peggy Noonan no longer loves George W. Bush, and Republicans are morons.
Anyway, it’s kind of cute to watch somebody like Peggy Noonan start to get a small clue:The White House doesn’t need its traditional supporters anymore, because its problems are way beyond being solved by the base. And the people in the administration don’t even much like the base. Desperate straits have left them liberated, and they are acting out their disdain. Leading Democrats often think their base is slightly mad but at least their heart is in the right place. This White House thinks its base is stupid and that its heart is in the wrong place.The really hilarious thing is that these same brokenhearted Republican conservatives are rushing blindly to Fred Thompson… who is building a political machine completely controlled and staffed by Bush-Cheney people.
Republicans: They’re like even stupider versions of Democrats, if you can imagine such a thing.
Actually, the funny thing is watching Peggy Noonan use the same attack methods against Bush and his Red Bushies that she used to use against the moderates (aka Dems).
I get the Wall Street Journal and she's in the weekend section. Man, she's a dunce. Ability with words, but three clues short of a cluestick.

I think we need Fred Thompson. It's a bit silly to do evil things all over the world with a goofy, retarded President; it makes much more sense to do that with a really evil-looking one. If only he had an eye-patch.
