the FUCK?! I was AT Serafina until 11:090 last night and live around the corner and consider myself "a regular"

Eastlake is like, crimeless, for the most part.

I am shocked.

And the bartender that was working last night, the one who wears the suspenders and fedora, is like, far from the best bartender who works there. At being a bartender, anyway. Apparently he rules at being shot in the arm.

Even so I hope he's ok and I commend his bravery/stupidity.

They probably gave the guy's table to someone who came in after he did. That's happened to me twice there and I wanted to shoot someone. The last time after we FINALLY got seated it took them about 20 minutes to bring us water and another 10 to get a waiter to acknowledge our presence.

Their food rocks but not worth bad service.

9. I walk out of establishments that do that and I don't go back, at the very least not for a long time, if ever. If I make a reservation and you give away my table, then the hell with you.

But yeah, like jackie said, Eastlake is such a crimeless stretch. This is quite a surprise. The thugs making the rounds know no bounds.

I'd lay money down that it was someone from near Lake City. That place is scary. I used to go to dialysis up there and we'd hear gunfire every other week.

Pretty, defensive, fixo. You from Tacoma? The south siders get particularly snippy when people even hint that their burgs export crime.

And for what it's worth, after the frat shooting last year, the shooting and other violent crimes in frat row were linked to thug gangsters from Tacoma.

A gunshot every other week is nothing, elswinger. Try growing up in East Las Vegas and hearing gunfire outside every single night. It was almost a surprise when a night went by without hearing it.

I lived in Lake City for a year, walked to and from the store, the bus stop, wherever, late at night almost every day, and never once did I have a problem. I'm certain crime existed there... but I'm not sure it was anywhere close to Tacoma-bad.

There was a guy that used to hang around at the bars on Eastlake - a shady character. He robbed a couple of places, including Serafina, using the same M.O. He knew what doors were open when they closed and who would be around. He got busted, but I wonder if he's out again.
