But be aware that you can't ever, ever, ever sign OFF again. Every Democratic organization in the country will start sending you email, and their unsubscription process is both burdensome and ineffective. You cannot ever get off that list.

I know. I got this same email this morning. I unsubscribed for the fourth time, with the exact same "paste in your confirmation code" garbage as the other three, but it will not happen. The email will continue.

Political spam is specifically exempted from the YOU-CAN-SPAM act, too.

See, the Dems do business like dirty mobstahz, just as the elephants do. it's just that they echo your values... or is it you echo THEIR values? I can never tell anymore.

"democrats.org" is the Democratic National Committee. Makes sense, since Dean chairs the DNC.

"Just announced"? Since when does "just" equal "a couple of weeks ago"?

After the Dems in Congress fucked up and still funded the war for the President, I took the various crap they have sent me in the mail and told them "When you stop the war in Iraq I will start to give money to the party again. Until them stop sending me anything"

But it does free up a couple of hundred dollars a month for me!!!

@1 - that's only if you give $50 or more.

That's why I always fill in the Other box and give $43.

Will, that's brilliant. I think the Democrats are using the same strategy to get the occupation of Iraq ended.

"I'm not going to refuse to support you because you don't share my principles, I'm going to give you a little less money and hope that you just decide to start agreeing with me at some point in the future."

This is a good idea....why?
