Fuck me. How did I miss out on the making of this one?!
Aww, I know the downtown parade hater. I had no clue he is so bitter. =(
Well, those fellas should never leave Capitol Hill if they're so worried about families wondering why all these faggots are around. Oh, they forgot to mention the dykes, bis and trannies. I think it's great that the parade is downtown and well, it was downtown before it was on the Hill, remember? Awareness!
Seriously, Dan. The kid has a point. No more crappy movies.
#2 and #3 - I don't think they were bitter. Some of the dialouge I cut - well - they were just missing the stronger sense of community and comfort it had when it was still on the Hill. Nothing wrong with a wee bit of nostalgia.
Tons more people told me the parade was more fun when it was still on the Hill... they just didn't make this edit.
Oh, Kelly, I just wanted to add that you're a fine contributor to the Stranger and I love your video installments. In addition to my previous post, I get it, it might have been more enjoyable for others, but it's only the second time having it downtown since it left the Hill most recently, folks should give it more time. Please have another float contest next year.
Kelly - HA! The Wet T-Shirt contest makes its way into video! I believe that last time I had spoken of such things (was it during video of the oil wrestling, or chocolate wrestling or whatever the heck that was?) you said you had seen too many of them.
Well, it appears that you haven't seen enough!
And seriously I agree with Deacon, I love these videos.
One complaint I have with the new Stranger Video section on the side is that we can't have discussions about your fabulous work in the comments.
I think you deserve kudos. And (don't tell Ari) I think you're neck and neck with Spool for my favorite Slogger right now.
If you post more footage of the wet t-shirt contest in the video section, please let us know...
What can I say? I'm a perv. Fucking sue me...
#7 - that's right - I did say that, didn't I? Sh*t. I take it all back. After the 'Rose wet t-shirt contest, I vow to go as many wet t-contests as I possibly can in 2007. The super-duper super-neat thing about this one was it was almost all woman cheering on other women.
And Sam and Deacon - thank you so much for the kind words. Also super-duper. Thankee!
