Um, is it wrong of me to want to thank him for at least getting a screaching kid out of the restaurant?

Perhaps a better alternative would be pediatric tranquilizers.

These people are idiots, period. But why bring religion and sexual orientation into the story? Are there no gay idiots? Are there no secular idiots? Don't get me wrong, I think that all religion is organized ignorance, but this post lacks any cogency whatsoever.

If they had put him in the trunk they wouldn't have had to tie him.

I'm not addressing their religion, or lack of same, Adam Smith, but the religious right and its insistence that only opposite-sex couples are fit to parent. The religious right would have us believe that any opposite-sex couple, however deranged, is going to be better, fitter parents than any same-sex couple, however fit.

That's nothin'.

Dan's point, I think, is that at least one nationally prominent christer-leader has said that there are no fit gay parents, that the worst straight parents are better than the worst gay parents.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, Dan. I've added them to the waiting list. We should have some room down here after we burn off some of Falwell's fat ass.
