I think Cafe Presse has wifi and is more than just coffee shop food. The roasted half chicken, served chilled with watercress salad is delicious and filling. It's also not too far from your HQ.
Pretty much anywhere on Pike\Pine or on Broadway or on 15th, you can leech off the free WiFi from the surrounding coffee shops and bars. Or if you have T-Mobile and know how to set up your browser to work with a proxy, you can leech off their cheap $6/ month data plan that's meant for only WAP sites.
Go to Office Depot and eat the food in their break room fridge. That's about the only time anybody would ever use their free wifi.
Linda's! I think they're still open for lunch.
Another bid for Cafe Presse.

Linda's works, but they're only open on weekends and after 4pm weekdays.

CANTERBURY. GRILLED CHEESE PLUS.
You can get free seattlewifi almost anywhere on the University Ave. Its fast and reliable. Lots of coffee joints on that street too
@15 true dat. Anywhere in the U Dist has free Wifi. So, let's add the China First too.
The best wi-fi I remember was also the first wifi I ever heard of. It was in 1999, on cap hill, at that weird old coffee shop on Bellevue & Thomas. They had some sort of homemade antenna on the roof that broadcast several blocks in all directions. You could get free wi-fi from your apartment anytime, or go sit in the nearby park all day. There's a shitty condo there now, but someone should find out who that was, and get them to rebuild one of those glorious antennas again. Or get Nickels off his ass and turn the space needle into a broadcast tower already.
Tap House on 6th/Pike has free wifi, and no wait at lunch.
Louisa's on Eastlake!
