Check out BBC World America’s great new ad campaign. It’s text-message-tastic.
There are three other versions: immigration, China policy, and bird flu.
Thanks to Slog-tipper Brian.
Hm, so now the BBC specialises in simplistic dualisms? Good to know.
Okay, it's neat anyway.
is there a link we can follow?
also it's far better than the vertigo condo ads. "the horned rimmed glasses of seattle condos"
so a tacky anachronism? ghoulishly retro?
distance signs to new york?
"you're already in the only part of seattle that really matters"?
its selling something seattle doesnt have; new york attitude.
Yeah, why not "the rimmed assholes of Seattle condos?"
I'd actually like that advert a lot more!
If Vertigo is *still* advertising, the condos must suck royally.
Hot tipper Brian is Haut!
I feel kind of silly for asking, but I take it that this ad campaign is in the US? (New York?)
I'm well aware that the BBC is available here (I frequently watch their news on 162) and it's obvious the ad says BBC..America, but a little context woulda been nice.
I'm just sayin'
Thanks for reporting it!
jeebus, sorry about the triple tap, don't know how that happened...
