City Cascade Bike Club Fundraiser

Cascade Bicycle Club fundraiser tomorrow night. CBC is the group that worked with Seattle Great City Initiative to pass legislation ensuring that bikes and pedestrians were factored into any new street funding proposals.

I didn't realize that Mary Margaret Haugen resigned and now Ed Murray is transportation chair. He's still listed as vice-chair on the legislature's website.
Seattle Great City Initiative worked with the Cascade Bicycle Club. They had been working on Complete Streets for quite some time (along with others). When they presented the concept to Seattle Great City Initiative, we decided to make it one of our priorities. It fit perfectly with our mission. We worked with CBC to bring along more allies, and push it to completion.
Just want to make sure CBC gets the credit they deserve for leading.
