the chubby Suvari is totally smoking. Yar! And I really don't dig the big ladies. Hmmmmm....
Agreed on the 'Suvari' pic - she's a hottie.
Gawd, what vile advertising. Nothing like preying on the insecurities of women. Hope the Brazilian ladies reject this product - what an insult!
Now I'm craving a chubby Brazillian chick...(I do sometimes go for the bigger ones)
@3 make sure she's cooked all the way through...
#2 -- It's not just women. Advertising is all about EVERYBODY'S insecurities. (Y'ever see the "Just For Men" hair dye ads? Those are hysterical.) They're obviouslly getting attention with this campaign. Whether or not people will buy the yogurt (or, more importantly, keep buying it after trying it) remains to be seen.
In the Hoyden thread, there's a link to a Snopes page about Marilyn Monroe's dress size ... it's stunning how our information gets so skewed over time that we can think a woman with a 22-23 inch waist could be a size 16 today. I mean, DAMN.
What do you expect from Brazil? They have the highest rate of plastic surgery per capita.
Is that a can of dog food in the Sharon Stone ad?
Big women are sexy. :-) I feel sorry for the apparent majority of men who don't realize just how incredibly erotic rubenesque women are.
Everyone in Brazil is better looking than us. Sheesh.
(The Brazillian/American Beauty is a stunner.)
I agree, the Mena Suvari one is hot.
A city without advertising. That's incredible. But what about street art?
Depends on the street art. Anything that isn't pumping a product, sure. If it's political...hmmm..
If it's liberal, it's cool. If it's conservative, it's vandalism.
A city without advertising will make fuckhead vandals like me filthy rich.
brazil is the greatest place on earth. the greatest.
Actually, Mr Poe, the article reports that the law was enacted by the city's populist right-wing mayor...
um, sorry. no. big mena = no go.
I wasn't speaking on the articles behalf.
