SuperHeroism: The Adventures of Transitman

(ART) Christian French was a simple artist-in-residence for Sound Transit when he was exposed to dangerous levels of bureaucratic radiation. Now he wanders Seattle city buses, on a mission to save the world from banality, wearing yellow Spandex. He catalogs his conquests and disappointments as a lone man in the business of salvation with photos, comics, even the Transitman costume itself. (SOIL, 112 Third Ave S, 264-8061. Noon—5 pm, free.) I saw the opening of this on Thursday and was hugely disappointed and confused how SOIL has stumbled the past few months with lame and lamer exhibitions... Can someone please convince me otherwise?
