#1 above-

the best witty I heard all day, thanks, and it is a crappy org. name to boot

they paid lots of $$$$ for the new name, of course they are awash with cash it seems

at the same time they quit giving PWA's a lousy 100.00 emergency grant, once per year, too expensive - and bothersome when you are busy counting your millions at the cozy offices

Personally, I think an email is a very weird way for an ED to announce her departure. Other than that I am glad Lifelong is is good shape and I certainly wish Ms. Podlodowski well.

I think it is shameful that someone would post her personal email ANYWHERE! Tina is awesome and should be allowed to live her life like the rest of us. I'm proud to know her and think BB/BS will be better because of her. Tina, all my best to you and BB/BS. Be PROUD of what you did @ LifeLong and your life.

I was an employee at Lifelong under Tina's tenure. She lifted that agency out of the blackhole for which it was headed, made tough decisions, and did what it took to get the agency back on track.

I can't say I always agreed with her, but she wasn't brought in to hold our hands, she was brought in to bring the agency back from the brink if death. As anyone who's tried to save someone in that kind of a situation knows, it can get messy.

Unfortunately, she's not Wonder Woman. David is also very bright, but is often overloaded with duties. Hopefully, he will have adequate support to get his job done.

It will be interesting to see how the agency steers the course over the next few years. It will be interesting to see how much it matters once an administation that is not hostile to HIV/AIDS is installed in the White House .

Oh, I forgot. As for the email. That's how it's done in the agency. On your last day, you send out a fairwell to all the people that have helped you along the way.

She wasn't being cold or anything.

Hires, fires, changes are all done in like maanner.
