In regards to the Duggar's 17th child... I saw a poster once that said... "Its a Vagina, not a Clown Car!"

I think Dan should go to Texas, talk to anyone that voted for that bill and see if their daughters have gotten or will get the vaccine.
If girls who's families cant afford the shots on their own can't have it, these senator's daughters should be at risk too.
My mother worked in a college health center, and she said it was unbelievable the percentage of the HPV tests that came back positive for HPV.

Maybe ECB can do a calculation for us to see what their familial impact footprint will be on the planet. I suspect that number will have an exponent.

Also, in today's Real Change (on the streets, but not yet online):

"What’s the whole story on SPD conduct? Video footage contradicts the official story about exonerated cops, and members of the public recollect their experiences with what they saw as a chronically misbehaving officer [page 5]"

And in Dan Savage's "Every Child Needs a Mother and Father" segment:

Vegans sentenced in baby's death
By GREG BLUESTEIN
ASSOCIATED PRESS WRITER

ATLANTA -- A vegan couple was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison for the death of their malnourished 6-week-old baby boy, who was fed a diet largely consisting of soy milk and apple juice.

Superior Court Judge L.A. McConnell imposed the sentences on Jade Sanders, 27, and Lamont Thomas, 31. Their son, Crown Shakur, weighed just 3 1/2 pounds when he died of starvation on April 25, 2004.

The couple was found guilty May 2 of malice murder, felony murder, involuntary manslaughter and cruelty to children. A jury deliberated about seven hours before returning the guilty verdicts.

Defense lawyers said the first-time parents did the best they could while adhering to the lifestyle of vegans, who typically use no animal products. They said Sanders and Thomas did not realize the baby, who was born at home, was in danger until minutes before he died.

Reading the (TX HPV) article, it says that, had Gov. Perry vetoed the bill, with which he strongly disagreed, it would have been easily overridden. Seems like he just didn't want the political theater to go on any longer than it had.

"It is time to move this issue from the political arena to the court of public opinion where real lives are at stake."

Doesn't sound like a weenie to me.

On the subject of food, I'd have thought ECB would've had something to say about Kool-Aid dill pickles today.
