Thanks, Dan, but Kos, TPM, Media Matters, Digby, and everyone else have been all over the mole fiasco for weeks now.

Huh?

Huh to you Savage -- what's this post about?

And huh to you too, Sean. What mole fiasco? I read all those blogs too. Don't know what you're talking about. Huh?

I had no idea moles could grow from 6 feet to 12 inches in length. Incredible!

I have a mole in my yard. There is no non-human being I want dead more than this creature.

What the point of Dan's post is, I have no idea. Care to enlighten us Dan?

Maybe it has to do with The Residents.

Or, do they get a phone call when the other animals are not up to the job at hand?

How anyone could want to kill those little guys is beyond me. They're like cute little blind, furry people with big hands!

I know me a Scotty dog loves herself some moles. She'll stare patiently a mound of dirt for a half hour - then WHAM - flying mole!

OK, it's kinda sad, but those things will do a serious number to the land... and it makes her so happy to get one.

I'm all for moles -- they are cute and they fuck people up who care too much about their lawns. But those star-nosed fuckers are just too weird. It's like he's got some creepy sea-creature living on his face.

I'm with you Mark @17, those star nosed ones are giving their cuter brethren a bad name!

I fantasize about controlling my moles with a .45. Just standing there naked in the yard at 3:00 AM, pumping lead into the ground. And yes, I'm an anti-gun nut.

Not so much about having just a perdy lawn, but those can do some real destruction... they shift a lot of soil and have pretty big appitites - the variety in the NW are particularly pervasive.

If it were an armadillo, however, i'd probably have more heart... then again, an armadillo might stand a real chance against a Scotty dog.

@9, If you like moles that much, you are more than welcome to come over to my yard and catch all of mine.

Just wait until the plain-nosed moles get jealous and start having stars put on their noses... it all goes to hell after that.
