Or a medium, gray box of nothing. Boo.

I don't even see how you get into that building. It looks like a funkily (in a bad way) remodeled residence with 2 garage doors....

That is a view of the loading dock... isn't it?

I'd like to see a palm tree prefacing this....

Ahh, but one must check out the cool interiors before casting aspersions. The coolest feature is the all-glass changing rooms that you can cause to fog over with the touch of a button.

It's a po-po-mo dingbat. Remarkable. We got a bunch of those in Ballard, too. Rem Koolhaas didn't design 'em though.

Nothing kills uniformity like natural randomness. Duh. Go watch a guy fuck a horse.

@7 Correction; it's a dingbat with a beautiful palm in front of it to spruce it up!

It's only a snout house with a nose job. And a palm tree to sex it up.

Too bad the aesthetic of that palm tree had to be ruined by that useless celebration of commercial profit.

Can someone breed a palm tree to live in zone 5? I think they are nice.

If you look closely, I believe the palm tree is actually in the median, not directly infront of the building.

To the contrary, architecture and palm trees are made for each other. Also to the contrary of elitists, fine art looks much better on the wall if it matches the couch.

I squatted a Dingbat in Ocean Beach, SF, but there was this acid-dealer into sorcery and Black Sabbath and this chic who broke the bathroom mirror and totally freaked out. Maybe if there had been a palm tree outside everyone would have calmed the fuck down.
