I now have Fernando by ABBA stuck in my head and therefore will have to watch Muriel's Wedding when I get home.

Do any gay couples chase hetero parents out of the hospital for their baby? That would be funny.

I'd do it if I didn't hate kids.

You guys, I am not kidding about this -- we have two male parakeets named Carlos and Fernando. Well, Carlos died recently, and now we have Alfred and Fernando, but still -- Carlos and Fernando were a couple for many years. I'll bet they would have adopted too. I wonder if every city in the United States has a gay male bird couple with this name.

Still time to see "Against Nature", the exhibition about gay animals, at the Natural History Museum in Oslo:

They would be flamingos. Is there a gayer bird to be found in the world?

Uh… gee. Making milk with their throats, huh? That’s talent.

Certainly is, especially for non-mammals, unless they've been reclassified and nobody told me. Hey, if the Catholic church can declare aquatic mammals to be fish ( http://www.jimmyakin.org/2005/02/rous_rodents_of.html ) who am I to argue :-)

@8: Yeah ... "flaming" is even right in the name.
