Am I the only person that recognized the absurd irony of the black headband that Paris Hilton wore to court where she was subsequently sentenced to 45 days in jail? It's so reminiscent of the black arm bands that war protesters wore during Veitnam, except that it's on her head not her arm...

Thats what she get when she doesn't have any man to stick to. all that runnin around cost her.
When my significant other had to go through the system wringer(she had three accounts also) while I was overseas in Iraq I wrote a letter to her judge askin for lenience and went on and on about how it was her surroundings that got her in trouble.
The judge gave her 24 hours in jail and thats all on her court date.
I don't know if my letter was the sole reason but it might have been.
Paris girl you need to settle down.

Dude - read it again. The clause "After being pulled over for alcohol-related reckless driving," modifies the subject of the sentence: "the judge." Basically the sentence means that the judge was pulled over for reckless driving, after which he did his considering and sentencing. So, being in a similar position as Paris, he should have been more sympathetic.
