SO then Nickels has SPD step up patrols in the areas he wants to snuff out nightlife in, then makes sure the cops 'push' vagrants and other undesireables towards these neighborhoods, wait for the shit to drop, swoop in and BAM, lost license.
Whichever Nickels plant put that provision in is a genius... or the tool of a genius.
The Mayor will gladly sign this, because he'll get what he wants anyway.
the ironic thing is the condo owners are pushing for this but it doesn't deal at all with noise on the street, public urination, lowd cars, drunken idiots - all the things they really want addressed. So nice work council - you've ignored the residents, fucked the music community, and empowered a police force you are investigating for corruption. Idiots.
