Is she doing another movie?
Dang, I wish I could go to this. I really must plan my events more carefully . . .
I hope you're joking about the book laundering.
@1
Yeah.
Ask her if I can have a milkshake with that salad.
Will she be designing the credits for Passions?
Unrelated note: there's some HTML in this entry that's messed up and it's completely screwed up the layout on my RSS feed. The rather unhelpful error message would not specify where the error was, but ye tech folk may want to take a look at the HTML.
Cool, but you know how things get caught up and you get caught up in them and you're 2 hours late...btw how was Neumos last night? you know how things get caught up and you get... yo Sam "c'n'cake" Prekop! i'm sorry for dancing like an wildidiot when WFXIV opened for your former band Shrimpboat. I was already coming down with a wicked hangover from drinking St Ides and plum brandy all afternoon. Don't even remember our set. Hmmm, ask her about filming the fish on car highway scene.
Oh, I see it. Look at the link for 'the bill'.
Do you guys ever mention Seattle Weekly events in your paper? Of course not. Do you ever mention Seattle Weekly sponsored events in your calendar? Of course not. Do you treat all of the other papers in town like shit? Always.
So are you really surprised that your little event didn't get mentioned elsewhere? A little diplomacy might help.
Don't worry, it's free, and you've been promoting it relentlessly. I'm sure a couple of people will show up. Hell, I'd go if there were free drinks.
Thanks, G. I'm fixing it.
my #6 comment-
Ask Becky Stark instead. I fell in love with her after reading a couple of her answers in the Seattle Weekly interview. Actually I might head down early to see if she's hanging outside the club.
if their online version reflects the print edition, it seems that the Weekly features the Miranda July event in "the wire" [sw]
that becky stark interview you mentioned is also online. here it is -->
@13-- it's not in the print edition and that page you link to has it on the wrong day. It is on Thurs not Fri.
You're right josh. Check it out, Mr. Frizzelle, they actually mentioned your event. No, they didn't mention your paper, don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
Miranda July blurbed Tao Lin's new book.
Interview July about Tao Lin. (Tao as in cow, with a t)
Here is my own blurb:
"Eeeee Eee Eeee is about hamsters, moose, dolphins, Elijah Wood, Sean Penn and Salman Rushdie. Andrew is a Domino's pizza delivery driver instructed to deliver pizzas to a coworker's house without raping his coworker. As he drives her to the house, Andrew thinks about his ex-girlfirend Sara while hallucinating about bears, dolphins, hamsters, moose and aliens, while having constant thoughts about going on an out-of-control killing rampage. Stylistically, Lin is very professional. His themes are very professional, and he is frequently hilarious. "Do it," says the bear."
Do it.
Is Evan of "Awesome" still single? I'd kiss him twice.

Miranda July looks like Martian Face Jenny! Swoon.
Could you please ask Miranda what the point of the auction at the PEN festival in New York was? I was puzzled.
For the record, I can't speak for "most book reviewers," nor can you, but I know the Everett Herald has a once yearly in-house book sale with the proceeds going to a selected charity. When I was a book reviewer at another paper I did the same - books, and CDs, went up for sale at Christmas with the proceeds going to Relay for Life. Maybe you should try it.
no one knows who this person is. please explain.
