The news is here. My Stranger profile of McDermott and his long legal battle is here.

Today’s ruling came from the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia. McDermott now has 90 days to decide whether to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.

take it to the supreme court, jim - what do you have to lose at this point?

except money. and time.

its really time for another congressman for the 7th - jim is hamstrung. he should be standing with kucinic introducing articles of impeachment, but he's wasting his time fighting off the VRWC. he should retire & we'll put mudede in there!

Congressperson Chuck. I love it. From Baghdad Jim to Mugabe Mudede, the equestrian. Final proof that the 7th is an asylum (or, um, sanctuary) for the criminally insane.
