I felt like such a dork for actually cheering out loud when Ben got his ass kicked and the other Others got killed. But man it was a long time coming and boy did they deserve it.

Also, I want to spend this whole summer swimming up to underwater portholes while holding a hand grenade and waving at the suckers inside.

Wasn't a fan until last night. I actually stood up and yelled holy fuck! at the end--and was very happy that no one was there to see me do it.

How about when Danielle tenderly strokes her daughter's face, and then the first thing she says to her is, "do you want to help me tie him up?" And I totally cheered when Sayid broke that guy's neck with his feet. What a bad ass!

Charlie didn't have to die! Why didn't he shut the door behind himself rather than shutting himself in? This is why you shouldn't believe in fate, destiny and people that have "flashes". Argh.

Charlie was baffling our whole house, but I think the reason he closed it from inside is that is the only way to ensure its closed and properly sealed. They don't lock from the outside and he didn't want to take the chance that the non-locked door would hold against the grenade. I was so hoping that his new hidden talent of dislocating his sholders would pop-up so he could wriggle through the porthole.

Ben's in the coffin. Jack is upset because Ben was right all along that they shouldn't have left the island.

Stone--Wouldn't the water pressure have sealed the door shut? Mmmm.....okay, dorking out now.

okay, dorks--here's where i was thrown off:

future jack tells the new cheif surgeon to "go get my dad..." yadda yadda.

is jack just trippin, or is his dad alive in the future?

i didn't know what to make of that.

oh, and pube-walt is jacob. and jacob is all island visions.

I think Jack is hallucinating.

If I ever learn I have a terminal illness, I want to look up Naveen Andrews and have him euthanaize me that way. Sounds delicious.

I have a theory about this. I noticed when John was shot and landed in the pit with the corpses of the Dharma people that the first skull he looked at had a bullet hole in it. But the Dharma people were gassed. What gives with the bullet hole? The answer is suggested by the costume that Ben's Hostile sidekick Richard is wearing when Ben first meets him-- he's dressed like a pirate. And he doesn't age between the time Ben meets him, when Ben is a kid, and the time Ben kills the Dharma people a good 20 years later.

And then there's the peculiar resiliance of Mikhail, who has definitely been killed at least twice.

So my theory is that the power of Island can--through some process that hasn't been explained yet --raise the dead. In addition to healing people and keeping them from getting old.

Which suggests some interesting things about all those bodies burried around the Island.

hmmmm...but they did that last season, too....they always pull out the stops for the season ender then the beginning of the next season SUCKS!!

hmmmm#2...Judah may be on to something there.... the richard character (nestor carbonell) should be way older than ben, not younger...(also, i think that actor got cast in some new show, so maybe he's toast, too)

my guess is that richard was a pirate from the black rock (the ship) and that many of the original 'hostiles' are immortal on the island.

but i like the idea of island zombies.

well, it's fun guessin' again.
glad the brought back the original writing team to it back on track.

Ya know, barely an hour before seeing Walt, my GF and I were comparing Claire's accelerated-TV-growth baby to the "baby" on Family Ties that grew six years in one season.

And then we saw the new Thug Life Walt who looks like he aged about the same amount in the same period.

Honestly, I'd about given up on Lost until a few weeks ago. This finale was better than that of any other show I watched this season (especially the particularly disappointing Heroes finale; what a letdown).

Charlie had to die, because he wanted Desmond's premonition to come true. Without drowning in the Looking Glass, then Claire and the baby might not be saved by a helicopter. It was so frustrating that Penelope finally had some news of Desmond, but then Mikhail had to interrupt. Why won't that bastard die?

Aexia: the person in the coffin is Micheal. The black neighborhood was too obvious not to be a clue.

Anyone notice all the black dudes are all dead or gone? WTF?
