Actually, it's not Preston Gates anymore. After the merger with an East Coast firm, it's now known as K & L Gates, which is short for Kirkland & Lockhart Preston Gates Ellis.
Davis’s line of defense is to point at her one remaining ally on the Commission and say “he did it!” like a 4 year old caught with a cookie in her hand, and the cookie jar on the counter wide open.
She’s making George Bush like a strategic genius, because he hasn’t yet ordered American troops in Iraq to open fire on the British.
Excellent reporting, Feit! Apparently no other local media outlet has reported this news. A ruling which
allows a petition to recall a local elected political official is an exceptionally serious and newsworthy event. Congratulations on breaking
this story.

Actually the PI does have a story as well. Both stories have some very interesting points. The standard for a recall is extremely high and this is indeed a very rare event. It is sort of like seeing a comet or the Northern Lights while in Seattle, it simply doesn't happen very often.
150000 is a fuckload of signatures
The Times and P-I love the advertising inserts of the Port.
The inserts are the quid pro quo for the endorsement of Pat Davis by The Seattle Times. The Seattle Times doesn't forget. Pat Davis doesn't forget either.
Next on the agenda: the long overdue tar & feathering of Mic Dinsmore.
just vote her out next time around ....the signature drive is not going to make it ... a lot of sigs and no giant wave of public feeling....or $$$$
new board, new xo....all new....go away pat
new word, above, fuckload...like it
@3 - actually, it was a lot of the talk at the 43rd Dems Spring Party on Saturday night ...
