sometimes I see the end while anxiously awaiting House to come on so I can gaze longingly at Hugh Laurie.

I can't be the only person who thought of that (allegedly Photoshopped) photo of Chris and Blake sitting in a chair together. BFF!

@8, Thanks for reminding me. That (photograph) was sweet!

@6, amitheonly one.
I don't watch it either, but I appreciate the slog updates. I went to high school w/ Blake, so it's nice to know how he's doing without having to watch the show. And the coverage here is definitely much more bearable than the coverage elsewhere online.

Who the heck is that guy and how did he find the most '80s outfit in the world? That is one rockin' preppie look (oo, that stair-step hair!) I love it.

The only thing missing from their final scene together was a box of Edible Anuses.

No! Seattle has been brainwashed into thinking that it's normal to like Idol. This show is the bane of all evil. My reasoning is that this is just a way of marketing corporations like ford and cheesy clothing companies. Please stand up for yourselves, Seattle. Blake is a cheese dick from Bothell. An uncool town. 1998 must have called and told him that frosted hair was out, so he died it brown to frame his fattening face that is getting bigger from all the free food he gets despite kids suffering elsewhere in the world. And "Idol gives back?" Yea right, some fat cat in a suite told them they need to fly first class to Africa to help people in order to erase any doubts in peoples minds that Idol is evil. Yes, they raised money. But it wasnt their idea. It was some marketing biz hoopla. Wake up, people!

Jennifer,

As someone who can proudly say, I've never watched a single minute of A.I., including slogged YouTube cuts, I have to say, for someone who so vociferously opposes this type of programming, you sure do seem to be rather intimately familiar with the goings-on.

feel better, Jennifer? So Blake is from an "uncool town": Ouch.. that hurts. I didn't realize that we chose where we are from, but hey, who am I? Obviously not as cool, hip, and wif it as you are, Jen. I must not be from a cool town, either.

Oh, and they raised $70 million for charity last week. What did you do last week?

I don't know, but I think Bono and Annie Lennox are pretty cool, and they participated.

It's just entertainment. Lots of people like it. So what. How does that affect you? Why don't you go comment on the things you DO like, instead of pissing vinegar here?

Jennifer was eating a box of Edible Anuses last week.

It's good to know there are people out there who don't watch TV EVER or, you know, DICK AROUND ON THE INTERNET because there are people suffering in the world. St. Jennifer has a nice ring to it.

I never watched AI until this season, I don't watch it regularly, but I've figured out that 1) it does not make you cooler to hate on things other people like just because they're popular (though this trick still has some success in high school) and 2) millions of people watch it for a reason. Not that it's good, but it's addictive.

I have yet to vote, though. I try to treat it like many people treat our democracy. I mean to vote, but then I forget.
