It's interesting that upon stopping and considering another creature's 'container-with-life-force', a human feels natural interpreting it as a somehow-displaced human.

What compelled me to write "goat boy," I wonder, and not "lion boy" or "beast boy?" Here is the answer: the goat is just a stupid creature, and in tragedy, the cause for a person's demise does not come from something powerful or intelligent, but just a stupid mistake, something that should not have happened. Yet, somehow, this is the most frightening thing of all. Goats are just so useless, yet we must give them a chance, we must empathize with them. Thus we risk seeing ourselves, too, as only stupid, ugly goats.
