Many years ago, I read the Ann Frank diaries.
I visited the Ann Frank house a few years ago.
I cried.
The story, the house and the way it is presented bring home the absolute horror of Nazi genocide, and of all genocide, and of inhumanity, in a very instantly impressive way.

Unless one is pond scum, I suppose.
