Every Child Needs a Mother and Father

posted by on May 16 at 13:28 PM

Since Dan’s out of the office today, I give you: Nineteen-year-old father allegedly microwaves baby:

A Galveston County grand jury will decide today whether to indict an Arkansas man accused of burning his 2-month-old daughter’s face and left hand by putting her in a motel microwave oven.

Joshua Royce Mauldin, 19, faces indictment for felony injury to a child, which carries a maximum sentence of from five to 99 years in prison and a fine up to $10,000. Mauldin, who police said claimed he was sent by God to be a preacher in Galveston, remained in the Galveston County Jail today.

Microwaving babies: Not as funny as it sounds!

Everybody knows you can't get that crispy golden delicious infant skin from a microwave.

This could have been filed under "They shall know we are Christians by our:", also. I guess the baby was going to get in the way of his preaching? Perhaps he wanted to send it to heaven early?

Since the baby didn't die, are all those dead baby jokes still okay to tell?

He was just trying to dry the baby off, right?

There is no way that brain is still healthy.

Now it will grow up to be the President.

Always, ALWAYS use the little baking tray or the baby won't cook evenly.

I joke but in all honesty his sentence should be HIM being put in a microwave. Christians love that "eye for and eye" shit.

Every baby needs a tan.

And, yes, hotels have microwaves sometimes. They even have saunas.

So THAT's how they keep making more Republicans!

He's a Christian, he doesn't need a reason.

I am tired of all these babies and their victim culture. This baby needs to follow the example of that other, more american, baby and get himself a gun permit so when his father tries to microwave him, he can defend himself. If secularist liberal elites would stop trying to deny babies the right to defend themselves, this kind of thing will continue to happen. Guns don't microwave babies, fathers of unarmed babies do.

I'll go you one better #11: Arms for fetuses, so when they see how stupid their parents are they can take care of business once born.

No, no, firearms for fetuses so they can defend themselves against abortion doctors.

Every time I see a dumbassed parent story, the first thing I check is how old he parent was.

19. Shocking.

My dad was 19 when he and my mom had me. Age is not the same for everyone. Some of us can cope, some can't.

Felony injury to a child? Attempted murder seems more plausible. What is going with Galveston County's Prosecuting Attorney?

What's this story have to do with the mother? They only mention the father.

I'm not sure I understand these Every Child Needs A Mother and Father posts...what is your point? That children should be raised communally, or by wolves, or something, rather than their parents?

If you donīt want children, why not use condoms or some other birth-controle or have an abortion or give the child up for adoption... there are many alternatives to the micro-wave-owen....But the guy is a preacher and preachers are over-represented among child-abusers and child-killers....Oh, and preachers are allmost allways "pro-life"...
