Dear National Media: You've fucked up for the past 6 years, missed the boat on the stolen election in 2000 and maybe 2004. You've given Cheney an open mic to say whatever wacky war on terror bullshit he wants and with impunity. You let bloggers do your job for you on the AG firing scandal. You've more or less handed the job of serious political commentary to John Stewart and Colbert. Giving the "war on terror is a bumper sticker slogan" meme legs is your chance to regain some of your lost Karma and perhaps earn the right to be reincarnated as something more interesting than a rat liver parasite. Really: You are mostly educated people. You know he is right.

Hey! I like Edwards/Obama too! Edwards for just being the most electable candidate with any experience who doesn't come off as 100% fake (just 60% or so - not bad these days), Obama to scare racists and set up a chance at having a black president when Edwards is done. I'd like to endorse Hil because people hate her for all the wrong reasons, but she would be hard-pressed to win and more likely to get assassinated than Barack. This country is kinda fucked up. Plus she comes off as 95% phony. Unlikeable.

Jim Webb, the ex-Navy secretary, who beat that Macaca-moron in Virginia. Relatively honest, intelligent, with street cred.

Obama is a media darling, with no experience, and
the obvious electoral handicap.

Hillary is liked by almost nobody.

Edwards is going nowhere fast.
