i am just a recent myspace fan who had added chris to my friends list. even on my myspace, it clearly states,

"everyone on my friends list is my real friend"

being i have never even met chris crocker (would love to) i felt i needed to still add him considering everything he talks about, is worth listening to and learning from.

he does it in a way where he can grab your attention, far from having to sit in a high school classroom and being almost forced to pay attention.
where even the most popular myspace goers (jeffrey star, forbidden and tila tequila) i refuse to add. chris crocker is not in it for the "attention" hes just trying to make a statement. while the other three, just want fame.

i understand there are many enemies again his "gay act" as well as fans who are for him, so why deny him?
my question is, if they are so against chris crocker, then why rudely comment or even watch his videos. obviously, they have an interest in him also, still denying the fact.

as for chris crocker, i do wish him the best of luck, he does deserve it, and i really hope his videos continue.

I would like to comment that, as an "average" Myspace user, the extent of his popularity/haters crew, seems superficial to the "average" person that doesn't use such sites as a means of expression or communication. To the other side of the world, its all sh*ts and giggles, nothing more than distracting humor to be attained.

But powers that be which come from the OCD-everyday user brings such sites to height of popularity that forever change society's way of functioning. I sometimes wonder where would I be if MySpace didn't connect me with person A? What choices would I have made if I didn't watch that one video on YouTube that can't be found on television? The almost instantaneous celebrity status that comes with exploitations on these sites is changing the way people "click" on a first-impression moment. I cannot be judged by my photographs, perhaps not even by my journal entries. But if the person wishes to be judged by their actions like this, then it shall be so. And Chris will have his time in this fame, people will keep calling him by whatever name of hate they can find, and people will keep cheering him on, and more than likely, the doors of opportunity are going to swing open a little wider for him.
