Another Post About Television

But this one’s about interweb television.

I’m not a huge fan of The Burg (Williamsburg hipsters mocking Williamsburg hipsters is a little too too), but this episode, about the quest to find a new bar that is teetering on the precipice of coolness, a place that “will be really popular but not before we’ve outgrown it,” is pretty funny.

Here’s a preview short called “Hip or Dangerous?”:

Hipster cynicism is a symptom of not knowing what the fuck you even like. This is pretty funny, but in a way it's also sad.

this reminds me of numerous experiences in the suburbs. only, there is only "dangerous", no "hip" option, apparently.

i liked the early episodes just for showing what kids with too much money, time, and insecurities do with their lives. just like my friends on the hill.
