Rob Perri's I'm Keith Hernandez, a satirical mash note about the titular baseball player and his druggy, porny, mustachey exploits, will be getting another screening at the Seattle True Independent Festival on Thursday at 6:15 pm at the Rendezvous. Highly recommended. And Marie Losier's The Ontological Cowboy, about Richard Foreman, the founder of the Ontological-Hysteric Theater in New York, can be streamed on... Foreman was there, working the controls as always. The play, called "Wake up Mr. Sleepyhead" was jaw-droppingly weird and gorgeous, glamorous, violent, and extraordinarily thought-provoking. Foreman, who has to be pushing 70, remains the most creative, brilliant, exciting and vibrant mind in American theater. I can't think of anyone else who even comes close. Can't someone out there bring him back to Seattle for just one more production before his time is up?
