And here's Lindsey Graham's summation of how peaceful things are in Iraq (he strolled with McCain through the market): "I bought five rugs for five bucks." Well, things certainly seem fine then.

Oh, except that snipers opened fire at the market after the Senators left. Maybe that's why the rugs are so cheap.

How can he possibly make such a bald-faced assertion with a straight face? Hell, with that kind of armored support and air cover, he could have "walked freely" through the middle of a free-fire zone!

Which apparently is exactly what this location turned into a few minutes after he completed his pathetic publicity stunt.

Let's see, the population of Iraq is 26 million (and plummeting). That means that we can facify the country with a mere 52 million Apaches, 78 million Blackhawks, and 26 BILLION troops. Where's my checkbook?

Fnarf @3, LOL!

I can't believe I once bought the notion that McCain was a moderate Republican, and independent who flouted the R party line. He has turned in to such a tool. Or maybe he was all along.
