Unseasonable Warmth

posted by on April 5 at 13:28 PM

I just watched a woman walk v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y between her salon’s threshold and the curbside mailbox 10 paces away. If you haven’t been outside, you should make up an errand and go. Tomorrow’s supposed to be even better. Here’s a handy guide to drinking al fresco (it’s three years old, so do call first and make sure your target is still in business).

That’s Nickerson Street Saloon’s pretty patio.

I'm chillin at the downtown Online Coffee S with a small drip. The front door is ajar and the moviescript the guy next to me is chatting about (i asked him) is titled "It's an On On On On Online World (mostly in the good ole US of AAA).

We're going to go get candy for the candy bucket, which is not a made up errand. It will be marvelous.

Well, I'm in fucking IOWA and while it's sunny, it's like 30 degrees here. This sucks.

But have a lovely afternoon, darlings!

I used to live right by the Nickerson St. Saloon. Nice place.

It's cloudy and cool in Denver but it's been an unusually warm March, cooling only a week ago to more typical early spring weather.

There was a woman on the bus today who was wearing a tank top, white flowy skirt and flip flops. It was 53 degrees this morning. Seattlites are so funny about sunny weather.

I shouldn't talk, really. I'm wearing a spring dress and no coat.
