Of course if they succeed in not being 'et', the story in two years will be how the booming rabbit population has eaten all the sage brush, killing off multiple species, sending coyotes into the cities etc.

Because that is what rabbits do. Which is why we have hawks and coyotes.

Nature totally knows what it's doing.

What I find most intriguing about this is that the dept. of fish & wildlife employs a "pygmy rabbit coordinator"... who should obviously be fired.
