The Slip
(Music) For over 10 years, the Slip have chased a sound that refuses to settle. Damn though, the P.I's "Going Out" section in today's paper is full of great ideas.

Posted by dwayne | April 21, 2007 12:57 PMI am pleasantly surprised to see The Stranger recommend The Slip. You do know that they've been decribed as a "jam band" for most of their existence, right? I mean, there will certainly be hippies at the show, and you're recommending it?
I really like the band, so it's great to see a broader audience enjoying their music. And, yeah, these guys can really play. Especially the drummer - one of the more creative and brave drummers I've seen.
