"Thrift Store Folds, Film at 11" would have been a way funnier title.

They never had any busily-patterned hoodies when I went there. No Bape, no Billionaire Boys Club, nothing! How do they expect to compete on the Hill?

I heard it's going to be... a bar! "Bar Opens on Capitol Hill, Film at 11."

People forget that you can only give so much back to the community when you only have so much to give in the first place.

Oh sad! I loved that place. It was one of the few reasonably priced thrift stores in the city. And, they had some of the most ridiculous CD's. I bought the Melrose Place soundtrack there. How long until it's closed?

Hi; its West Seattle storefront is closing too, as we noted last week.

it's too bad it is going out of business, but that store was way too small, way too cramped, and had way too few of anything worth buying. oh well.

I loved Backstage Thrift! I'll always remember it as the place where I found the adorable sable green leaf-pattern women's bikini bottom I somehow convinced John Kaufmann to wear in one of my movies. Thanks for the memories, Backstage Thrift! R.I.P.

Backstage on Broadway was always kind of lame and picked over, but the one on Admiral rivaled Lifelong, it was so good. So sad.
