The Age of Treason

And what is the use of this?

George J. Tenet, the former director of central intelligence, has lashed out against Vice President Dick Cheney and other Bush administration officials in a new book, saying they pushed the country to war in Iraq without ever conducting a “serious debate” about whether Saddam Hussein posed an imminent threat to the United States.
Big fucking deal! It matters naught that he comes out now with something he should have come out with five years ago. The stuff of Tenet comes from the bottom of the pit.

Nicely put. It is nice that all these former enablers are coming out now; it gives me a sense of vindication. But it would have be super if just one of these A-holes would have had the nuts to say something 5 years ago when it really mattered.

Then again, everyone that did have the nuts back then was smeared & marginalized by the war propaganda machine. See: Richard Clarke, Joe Wilson, etc, etc...

There's a silver lining here, Charles. Tenet has climbed a rung up from the bottom.

poor george tenet - the medal of freedom isn't keeping you warm at night? your sleep haunted by the screams of 500,000 dead iraqis? or the 2 million refugees created because you couldn't stand up to the narcissist in chief?
