Charles:

Yeah, but you’ll notice that people of color are pretty much nowhere to be found on Out’s just-released list of “the most powerful gay men and women in America”… Although Anderson Cooper and Jodie Foster both make the cut.

Jeez, only André Leon Talley and Perez Hilton (which is really pushing it).

2

Too bad our boy Dan is so pure and Wisconsin-white, because then there'd...oh, hey...wait a minute.

What's going on with that list???

Are you telling me that Dan Savage ISN'T on the list of most powerful gay men and women in America???

Don't they know that he once licked a doorknob to keep us all free?

pg--who is just as Wisconsin-white as Dan and is wondering where all of the injustice will end.

3

Wait, are you saying that Anderson Cooper is not Caucasian?

Man, learn something new every day.

...

seriously, outing is so last century. just like Paris Hilton.

4

sigh...anderson cooper IS dreamy....

5

Isn't it better to exert power from behind the scenes, without accountability or scrutiny? Dan is the Karl Rove of the Faggotocracy (or whatever collective name applies to the signatories to the Gay Agenda).

6

@4, I agree completely.

Dan, perhaps if you worked out more, you could crack the top fifty.

7

Dan is certainly more famous, if not more powerful, than much of the list.

8

Dan is going to have to stop writing about cocksucking and DO a little cocksucking to get on next years list...

9

I think, @8, you meant to persons other than his husband.

But if Dan does that ...

10

4: Very yes.

Erica, i don't think Chuck can respond to your post cause he apparently fell victim to an SPD entrapment scheme today. I must say, i'm glad he stumbled into their trap before i did!

Shouldn't Ryan Seacrest have made the top 50? How bout Janet Reno?

I like knowing who are America's most powerful homosexuals and applaud this list. Making lists of America's most powerful Jews would be terribly antisemitic. But homosexuals like Jodie Foster deserve to be called out for not making their sexuality interview topic number one. A person's sexuality impacts their public life. Their religion doesn't. So for me lists of homosexuals is good, but lists of Jews in antisemitic.

13

Jesus, Shoshana...you like the gays so much, why don't you marry one?

Oh, that's right...nevermind.

pg

PS--I'm not sure, but I think I might buy a magazine that listed America's LEAST powerful Jews...is that wrong?

(Comedy+Antisemitism+Homophobia=Nervous Laughter???)

A lot of Jewish publications (the Daily Forward comes to mind) yearly publish lists of the top X-number most powerful Jews. And I disagree with "A person's sexuality impacts their public life. Their religion doesn't." Religion is a very public thing these days, in case you haven't noticed.
