While I was so busy grousing over the news that The Race Beat won the Pulitzer for history, I missed the news that The Looming Tower won for best general non-fiction. I reviewed that book for the Stranger too.
Now, that book was great.
Pulitzers are for pussies
In 2004, an auto writer for the Los Angeles Times won a Pulitzer Prize.
AN AUTO WRITER!
I predict that within at least three years, Dan Savage will win a Pulitzer Prize for his "Savage Love" column.
If a car writer can win one, can Dan be far behind?

Dan can probably think of something "Savage Love" related to that!
And it might be worth $10,000 in PP money!
