Fuck the parade, let's just all go to The Big, Gay Bout!

This is disappointing news. I was really looking forward to seeing them at Key Arena because, since they are flat track racers, I thought the view might be better. I still plan on going, but I'm still disappointed.

I should add that if the parade does move to Capitol Hill and we end up having our bout somewhere other than Key Arena, we would still gladly march (er, roll) down Broadway.

This is obviously not about roller derby. We just wanted to extend our offer to help and/or participate however we can.

I tried to go to Rat City Rollergirls a few weeks back and it was totally sold out! Has anyone else had this problem? Fuck the Sonics, with a little promotion, RCR can be Seattle’s number one sport. Fill that key arena, Seattle loves you!

I’d be happy get all my friends, party down the street with Pride, watch some great roller derby, then head to the all-out, into-the-night dance party in the fountain. Sounds like the fuckin time of my life!!!

Every time I've tried to go it has been sold out. With them playing the Key Arena, my friends and I thought there would be a good chance to get tickets (there would be 12 of us).
