Life Notes From The Prayer Warrior

The Prayer Warrior, in D.C. today on a lobbying trip, pauses to reflect on the Virginia Tech tragedy but then pushes forward with his efforts to prevent hate crimes legislation…

Dear Prayer Warriors,

Due to the terrible tragedy at Virginia Tech yesterday, the decision was made to cancel the press conference regarding the hate crime bill. As God is so gracious and sovereign in all His ways, He has allowed us to give individual interviews to various TV and Radio shows here in the DC area. Please continue to pray for the families of those who lost their lives in the shootings at Virginia Tech and for the family of the young man who did the shooting. God will make something good out of this.

At 11:00 AM PST, 2:00 PM EST, I will be addressing the Conservative Group of Congress regarding the hate crime bill and all that it will do to negatively impact churches, if it is passed. Please pray that I will be God’s voice to speak the truth and that they will hear the truth and act accordingly.

Thank you again for your prayers, they are fervent and righteous!

Can someone please explain what the effect of a hate crime bill would be on the church? Maybe i missed previous posts addressing this...

So God can't be bothered to prevent the senseless murders of dozens of people, but He will intervene to make something "good" come out of it. How useless is God anyway?

is it no wonder that God chose to place His two most prolific child killers in Virginia and Colorado, two states with very high-profile anti-gay statutes?

Right on, Keshmeshi - because only a truly "gracious" God would allow the cold-blooded murder of 32 (and counting) innocent lives, while at the same time making certain the tragedy didn't interfere with Hutch getting his daily media fix.

Yeah, that's the kind of gracious diety I want to worship...

Clearly it was their time to return to fold, how can you doubt this? The Supreme fire and brimstone guy needed to remind us all of our mortality so that we will get in line.

It is only right and just that his chosen mouthpieces here exploit, er um, use this opportunity for god given press releases and interviews!

Isn't it obvious that God hates Hutch so much He was willing to engineer the death of 32 innocents just to block Hutch's news conference? Sure, it would've been more direct to just arrange for a mass murderer to take out Hutch, but He works in mysterious ways.

(Frankly, Hutch, if this sick fuck is the deity you worship, I want no part of him or you).
