It's over. Dude shot himself as the SWAT team entered the building. Unfortunately, he killed one other person he'd taken as a hostage before he offed himself.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if there were just as many murder/suicides committed nation-wide the day before Cho's rampage, as there were several days after. It's just that the ones that happen after a mass-killing tend to get extra emphasis, for obvious reasons.
