And of course, it goes without saying that commenting on allegedly "self-indulgent" posts isn't in any way shape or form considered self-indulgent behavior.

But really, I like the random shit posted here. Octopusses fucking fisherman's wives, blood-soaked bathroom floors and all.

I like all the comments too, even from the haters. I love a good "wack-job" post.

I'm as courteous as they come but I'm nobody's maid. Also, gross! I'm not sticking my hands all up in someone else's handwash, spit and whoknowswhat.

And, no it's not really like TV. I can't choose my programs without ever having to flip on CBN and other things I don't want to watch. I HAVE to roll past the idiodic posts about some Stranger staffers hands smelling like shit even after washing them-- just so I can get to the good stuff like my daily Chris Crocker video. So there!

You don't have to be a "Weakly troll" to be sick and tired of all of the petty rants against the Weekly and every other paper in town lately. Do they think that these posts will boost their circulation? Yeah, right. All I can do is scroll through the crap and look for something more interesting.

The slog used to be a really fun destination, but now we have to endure this juvenile turf war, compliments of the "cooler-than-you" Stranger staff. I think that's why there are so many negative comments these days.

If you think the "Weakly" sucks, then don't pick it up. (I've never worked there, but I'm guilty of reading it now and then.)

Personally, I'm in it for the journalism, and I find Weekly very readable.
