Funny, my grad class is studying disparities in intelligence tests right now. Yes, blacks score lower, but studies have shown that the IQ tests and the Stanford-Binet are based on cultural belief about, say individual v group responsibility, and are, in fact, normed on upper-middle class white kids, and that the disparities are the faults of the tests, not of the test-takers.

...how do groups that unilaterally include "America" somewhere in their name promote ideals of countries their grandfathers ostensibly fought against?

@ #1. Ugh, I am a real flip flopper on free speech even the really nasty stuff. I just turn the channel when I run into stuff I do not want to hear. After all, I do not want what I say censored by anyone. And last time I read the US Constitution (last week btw) we do not have a right to our feelings being hurt or being offended.
