I hope at least one of you told Peter to leave the strip clubs alone.

I am not sure which is more insignificant...Erica...the Muni League...or Steinbrueck?

Congratulations, Erica. Piss off, haters.

So is that her excuse for the continual misrepresentations in her "journalism" -- that she's reporting what should be? That's Rumsfeldian!

I'd say you left out a fourth option, TTH. I'll bet you can guess what it is, though.

Aw, cute, Doug doesn't understand the concept of editorials!

Congrats to Ms. Erica for an award well earned. Here's to much, much more of the same caliber reporting. Enjoy the accolades and don't let the stupid haters get ya down.

Which is the biggest loser, Steinbrueck for an evening with ECB or vice versa?

When did the Muni League become a front for the Green Party, anyway?

Just kidding. Congratulations, ECB. Very cool.

I can't say I'm surprised, though. As you know, I have always thought of you as the best hippie reporter in town. Just kidding again (Well, um... sort of kidding).

Congratulations, Erica, you absolutely deserve it.

That's not going to stop me coming at you tooth and claw when I disagree with you, of course. Grrr. Arf. Arf. [Wag].

Nothing says "We recognize and award your outstanding contributions to the field of excellence" like Lucite.

Everyone had a comic book store guy moment when they read that, right?

Props, ECB.

@21,

Oh go hang.
We're happy about ECB's award. She works her ass off, and as her editor, I wanted to give her props.

Erica, you're good about establishing your position and that puts the oneness on everyone else to see where they stand. It's a good formula. Congrats for hitting it hard and keeping your shoulder to the wheel.

Isn't there a study to show that one out of three female reporters is the victim of a Muni League News Award?

Nice work. But I'm telling you, you'll get another award if you do a weekly column on "What's Pamela Sitt written about lately?" Really. Congratulations.

Congrats to Erica, and I'm glad you liked the cookies. Maybe I'll mail you and the Stranger staff a batch.

Peter Steinbrueck is the Al Gore of Seattle, a discredited hypocrite. ECB always gives Peter a free ride (in an automobile), and Nick is now out of favor.

So Peter does something right and stands up for transit and the best people can come up with is hypocrite?

And whats wrong with Gore? Much better than anythig running.

And no Kucinich doesnt have a chance even if I agree with him on most things.

You might not like the guy (Peter), but he is standing up for what he beleives in and giving up a well paid job in a seat that was his for life. I doubt these pompous posters would do the same.

The guy deserves props, and like most local politicians, youre not always going to agree with him, and he is going to piss you off at times, but come on, he is a pretty decent guy.

This city needs an enema.
