Life World’s Worst Foster Mother/World’s Worst Jehovah’s Witness Found Guilty of Cruelty

So I sincerely doubted I would ever encounter a story as horrible as this one, which was so pointlessly evil and upsetting I actually banished it from Last Days.
But then came this story, and suddenly cutting the head of a troubled girl’s therapy dog and leaving it on her doorstep in a gift-wrapped box didn’t seem so bad.
Among the terrors collected in This is London’s story on Eunice Spry, the 62-year-old foster mother found guilty today of subjecting three young children to a “horrifying catalogue of cruel and sadistic treatment”:
Eunice Spry, 62, routinely beat, abused and starved the youngsters in her care over a 19 year period. The devout Jehovah’s Witness forced sticks down their throats and made them eat their own vomit and rat excrement.The three victims, known as Victim A, B and C, all gave evidence describing how their daily routines were punctuated by random acts of bizarre and sadistic violence at the hands of their foster mother.
Kerry Barker, prosecuting, told how Victim A, now aged 21, was imprisoned in a wheelchair by the woman following a car crash. Spry had tried to stop Victim A from trying to walk again following the crash so she could get more compensation money.
Victim B, also 21, told how her foster mother would pull her hair and shove her face in her pet dog’s faeces as punishment.
Victim C, now 18, described how his foster mother held his hand down on a hot electric hob until it was left looking like a “gooey mess”. He said he had been force-fed so much washing up liquid by Spry that he could now differentiate between the brands on taste alone.
The abuse was finally discovered after another Jehovah’s Witness secretly confronted the wheelchair-bound Victim A about marks to her head caused when Spry rubbed sandpaper over her face.

Short of torture, there is no punishment great enough for Eunice Spry and the person who beheaded that girl's dog.
In cases like this, I hope even atheists hope there is some kind of hell for the fuckers.
I have a lump in my throat and literally feel sick after reading those two stories.
What is most unsettling about the foster-parent story is that she's just one who got caught—there are so many who don't.
Athiest here! And let me just say why take the chance that there is no hell? I say, let's make it hell for her here and now!
I have always supported the death penalty (for only a few of the really sick crimes and when there is total and unquestionable proof the perpetrator did the crime) And this is a great example of the wonders that are a slow and painful death.
I like the idea of a slow bacteria that eats away at her over a period of months from the inside out.
In lighter news, who knew Brits insist on calling dish soap "washing up liquid"?
Violence done to children is unforgivable, and makes you less than meat as far as I'm concerned. It's times like this that I think the Soviet era Russian justice system may have gotten one thing right - take the lady into a tile room with a drain in the center of the floor. Two bullets, one head, then hose the mess down the drain.
This is why I believe in the "death or dismemberment" penalty for murderers, rapists, child molesters and monsters like Eunice Spry.
I'm not saying it has to be mandatory (I don't believe in mandatory minimums) and I believe the prosecution would have to prove their case without any doubt. I don't believe in the death penalty as a deterrent, but as just punishment.
Damn some people are just sick. And not to make light of this but the first thing that flashed in my head was the abuse flashback scenes from Sybil.
Also, you wouldn't have had to show me a picture of Eunice Spry. I would have pictured her from her name.
I think those kids should get 24 hours alone with Eunice to do whatever they want to her.

It would be nice if potential foster parents were forced to go through intensive psychological screening. The problem is that there are so many unworthy, abusive, and neglectful biological parents that the system is overwhelmed. Anyway, fuck people who reproduce without any concern for what's going to happen to the children once they're born and fuck people who get their rocks off abusing society's most helpless members.

Don't British children in foster care have a social worker? How did this go on for years without the social worker figuring it out? Those injuries are not exactly subtle or easily explained away.

Lots of possible comments here - Darwin; "fit" parents of any flavor (Dan u listening?); Why weren't these kids leaving (indoctrination? brainwashing?). Like I said - lots of possibilities to explore on this one. Dark side of humans, indeed.
Its funny that she is called devout, as her believes do not match up with those of JWs. She believed the foster girls to be possed by the devil! this is contry to belives of JW's. And she belived their punnishments were to save their souls. JW's don't believe in the soul as such as the hebrew word Nephesh translated soul is the body. And she said the girls would go to hell. JW's don't believe in hell as it is not scriptual! She was said to be a pillar of the community by the sun newspaper and yet the same newspaper said her house was full of rats. Yes the abuse was terrible and i hate this old hag, but she was for sure not right in the head and did not adhear to the teachings of the bible. Something is not right with this story.

I agree with the post at 01:04 PM. What she did does not reflect what JW's are like at all.Its just wrong that shes called a devout JW when they're not like that. The article made me feel sick. How can people be so evil?
And Americans call washing-up liquid dish soap? Huh, didn't know that.
