Instead of posting a link to Brad Neely's Washington every few weeks, how come none of the Stranger's stable of brilliant critics never analyze the deeper meaning. Like how Washington is the the United States over 200 years of history. His heinous acts -- putting a woman's hand in acid -- are America's unilateral exercise of power. He killed his sensei and never said why: American exceptionalism and overweening righteous confidence. The disproportionate resources -- a pocket full of horses, 30 fucking dicks -- that's America. The future beware, made of radiation: our scientific prowess.
Truly insightful shit in that cartoon. Knock back a few and have Mudede or Schmader deconstruct the thing for like 40 column inches.
Better than a feature article which a bunch of pissant whining about condos and bike paths.
