Arts Today The Stranger Suggests

onSeattle Notables Costume Party(DUMB ART PARTY) Apparently the “Seattle Notables” party celebrates some photography exhibit and you’re supposed to come dressed like a person from McLeod’s list of local (read: third-rate) celebrities. I’m not saying that I’m insulted I didn’t make the cut (even though the Sonics’ Squatch and Christopher “Already-Too-Big-For-His-Britches” Frizzelle did). I’m just saying I don’t even care. It’s just a dumb popularity contest. Whatever. (McLeod Residence, 2209 Second Ave, 441-3314. 8 pm, $15.) BRENDAN KILEY

When was Snake Pliskin a local celebrity? New York or LA possibly, but not Seattle.
I want to go as the Snohomish High School Cannon ... but that's not really Seattle.
Dammit.
If you can make a case for an ALMOST-Seattle Notable, we might let it slide at the door. The Lashes might be more harsh though. It's all for laughs... just do your best.
I can't hear you; your vacuum is too loud.
I hear you, Jen. Those McLeods are just a bunch of poseurs, anyway.
