I saw someone who matched that description (or, more accurately, the further detailed description in the Times: http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2003627272_webstab20m.html) being detained on Harvard right outside of QFC over an hour ago. I didn't get a good look as I was in a hurry and walking quickly, but it appeared to be a citizen's arrest or an undercover/off-duty cop 'cause there were no uniforms or obvious police vehicles in site -- a man had the guy pinned to the hood of a car and was wrestling handcuffs onto him. Haven't seen any news updates about the suspect being captured yet though, so I'm not completely sure.

Too bad he didn't have a gun, then his cousin would be ... DEAD.

if we didn't have so many guns, there'd be a lot more stabbings. with stabbings, if it doesn't hit an artery, you have a chance.

i don't see no "well-regulated" militias, anyway.

Obviously a pressing need for knife control. Anyone want to start a movement?

Well, DC must have one, cause now they can carry assault rifles ...

I say we restrict knives to people who know how to use them - women and men who can cook and the fishmongers that can cut bait.

Good thing I can make sushi.
