Hey, this is pretty good news.

But when people mentioned "transit improvements" as an alternative to a highway, what did they have in mind? I hope it's not more bus service. If they could get light rail to West Seattle that would be nice. It's already going practically down to Spokane Street.

Was Jean Godden also having $11/glass wine?

Oh. Poor Nickels. Seriously, not sarcastically. He at least meant well, unlike Ms. G. I came very close to voting 'yes' on the tunnel.

I betcha he regrets killing the monorail about now....

Erica, everyone knows you have to double the price in a hotel bar. Their clientèle is mainly on expense accounts so money isn't real.

$11 for a glass of wine? That's about three times the amount I spend on a bottle.

They have the best crabcakes at the Edgewater. I know that has nothing to do with anything but since you posted a pic of the food...

Oh yeah, and go surface option! Woo! Wait, we didn't actually vote on that, but it won anyways. I love politics.

Man, Nickels is looking rugged these days. On the other hand, Godden is looking foyne. I'd hit that, for reals.
