Erica: do you have a effigy of Phyllis that you stick pins into? She is the anti-Erica.

I'm kind of thrilled to have Phyllis back in the news. The hair, the scary-grandma quality. She is indeed the anti-Erica.

It's not marriage that kills female orgasms, it's having kids.

Once Phyllis is done making ERA opponents look like paleolithic morons, do you think we can get her to come campaign for the viaduct?

I wanted to care about the farm bill until I got half way down the article to find a FUCKING ADVERTISEMENT for the self-serving author's book.

In other morning news, I just read on King 5 that the Pharmacy board is at it again, and considering whether to allow pharmacists to deny women Plan B, and are making a decision today.

Umm... what? How did this slip under the radar? Didn't this get resolved last year?

I'm so glad you lost the bolding...
something about that was was bugging me, but I'm not sure what it was. I do love the Slog intro into the morning news though.

"It may be focusing on Colin Firth's smouldering eyes, some romantic novel or a waterfall or whatever."

THAT is an Onion-worthy sentence.

Stupid sex therapists have way too much time on their hands. Of couse, women AND men can achieve orgasm more easily through masterbation because they do it all the time and they know what "floats their boat." So what's the purpose of this ridiculous study? Stay single and lonely but get off more often?

Chip, the issue is not which is easier for attaining orgasm, it's which is *successful*. I bet similar %s of men can achieve orgasm whether it's done alone or with a partner, even if it's easier to achieve alone.

The purpose, I dunno. I guess as cannon fodder for when a guy pisses a girl off.

Did Schlafly write the script for Marnie, by any chance?
