So when are we going to shock and awe Sydney? Maybe that's the republican ace in the hole for 2008. We discover that the threat has been Australia all along, and Mel Gibson leads the US troops victoriously through the streets of his homeland rounding up the jews. That would be so apocolyptic that the the Christian right would turn out in record numbers to vote for reublicans and hasten the coming of the rapture.

I have mentioned it before and will mention it again. Am I the only person who thinks we need to have the states call for a Constitutional Convention? You know, now while we still can?

I mean it would be nice to try to stop the facism in America before it gets really really stupid out there.

Problem is Kinaidos that most of Australia is more right wing and redneck than rural Alabama. After living there 3 years (a lot of which, thank god was in Melbourne, one of the few havens) I sped to New Zealand. Oz doesn't have the death penalty anymore, but the string em up mentality and then put meat on the barbie still permeates much of Australian culture. Just ask most of the Aboriginals.

Just wondering where you get these darling interns. They write just like the regulars and they're free, and on weekends. Keep it up kids.
